A cut that works on your hair, not just in the salon
Before the scissors come out, Bev asks how you wear your hair day to day, what you like and dislike about it now, and how often you want to come back. Fine hair, thick hair, a cowlick or a growing-out fringe all need a different approach, and she'll tell you honestly what will work.
Whether you want a tidy trim to keep your length, a fresh bob, layers for movement or a bigger change, the cut is planned around your face shape and your routine.
The blow wave
Every cut is finished with a blow wave: smooth and sleek, soft and voluminous, or with a bit of bounce at the ends. Bev will show you a quick way to get close to the same result at home with the brush and products you already have.
How often should I have my hair cut?
Short styles keep their shape best with a cut every 4 to 6 weeks. Medium and long hair usually needs a trim every 8 to 12 weeks to keep the ends healthy. If you only want a blow wave between cuts, see our ladies blow wave page.

Questions about ladies cut & blow wave
Can I bring a photo of a style I like?
Yes, please do. A photo is the quickest way to show what you mean, and Bev will tell you how it will work with your hair type.
I only want a trim. Is that a cut and blow wave?
Yes. A trim is booked as a cut and blow wave, so you leave with your hair washed, cut and styled.
Do you cut curly hair?
Yes. Curly hair is cut with its natural shape in mind so it doesn't spring up shorter than you expect.
Where are you?
2 Phoenix Street, Kensington, about five minutes from Bedford Centre in Bedfordview.
