- Colour correction: fixing patchy, brassy or box-dye colour, often with a bleach bath.
Choosing the right shade
The same box colour looks different on every head, because it mixes with what's already in your hair. Bev looks at your natural colour, how much grey you have, any old colour still on the lengths, and your skin tone, then mixes the shade to suit you.
Keeping colour fresh
Use a shampoo for coloured hair, wash in lukewarm water, and protect your hair from heat and strong sun. Most permanent colours need roots done every 4 to 6 weeks.

Questions about hair colour
Do I need a skin allergy test?
If you're new to the salon or haven't coloured in a while, a quick patch test 48 hours before is the safe choice. Bev will advise when you book.
Can you fix box dye?
Usually yes, though it may take more than one visit. Send a photo on WhatsApp and Bev will tell you what's possible.
Will my grey be fully covered?
Yes, with the right formula. If your grey is stubborn around the hairline, Bev adjusts the mix and timing for it.
How long does a colour appointment take?
Allow about 2 hours for colour with a blow wave. Bigger changes take longer.
